Dr. Sebastian took the time to discuss all of my GI issues, discussed how they change with age and interact with my other issue. Explained the effects of aging, described how GI issues occur in different populations, ages, etc. Discussed how symptoms come and go. Discused options for me, coping methofs for me, what to expect goimg forward. Examined me twice to diagnose a condition I was unaware of.I can't say enough good things about this visit!

I told Dr. Sebastian that I came to her wanting a fresh start. I wanted to partner with a provider in prevention moreso than treating symptoms. She heard me, allowed me time to speak and interact, treated me intelligently and professionally and was a joy to talk with! I'm looking forward to a new relationship with the clinic.

Dr. Sebastian was awesome! I have a lot going on and she went through everything with me and had even reviewed my chart before my appointment so she was prepared and together we formed a plan to address all of GI needs. I'm very impressed with her care and compassion.

Dr. Sebastian has always spent ample time with me in an appointment that is meant to last a minute amount of time. She takes into consideration my needs, and remembers important aspects of my life in a macro perspective. This is so rare for a physician these days who rely on chart notes.

The provider did not listen to me, cut me off, and was dismissive. I left feeling disappointed and like I am back at square one. Her clinic notes show this because there are numerous discrepancies between what I said and what she notated.

Dr and I had an excellent discussion about whether or not I should have colonoscopy next year. I am in excellent health for an 84 year-old lady and I had polyps before and I would like to have my five year colonoscopy that was recommended four years ago. The doctor explained what the guidelines say about whether I should have one -we decided we would decide that later even though the doctor explained the regulations for a person over 80 years of age. I will be 84 next year, but I want to still have my colonoscopy.

Dr Sebastian is a absolute dream . I hit the lotto in the gastroenterology department . To have a Dr. That makes you feel seen is the most important thing . She listens, compassionate, relatable, understands your concerns and comes up with a plan to find the root of the problem . Priceless

Dr. Sebastian explained the importance of me just using the Miralax when I get constipated. Also, talked about not using tea containing the herb senna frequently, just when absolutely necessary. Dr. Sebastien listens to me and respects my opinions, She backs up her statements with research and breaks it down so I understand it. She seems to have a solid understanding of what's going on in my gut. It's comforting to know that Dr. Sebastian is Interested and concerned about her patients. I like her and feel comfortable with her and Dr. Kim. I trust God, so I trust that she is giving me accurate information.

The care was mainly by student at first and she was excellent, listened to my concerns. Followed by doctor who also was good. I saw after visit report and some of the timing of my medical history was not accurate.

I would recommend the doctor, but advise to go somewhere other than Emory if you need an appointment sooner than 8 months away
