Katherine L. Marks, PhD, CCC-SLP is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Emory University School of Medicine. She is a speech-language pathologist at the Emory Voice Center. She completed her master's and doctoral degrees at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She completed an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellowship at Boston University.
Dr. Marks treats patients with a variety of voice and airway disorders, including laryngeal dystonia and vocal tremor.
Dr. Marks' program of clinical research focuses on investigating and measuring vocal behaviors associated with voice disorders and implementing them to clinical practice. She has a specific interest in laryngeal dystonia and tremor, working to develop and validate measures they may aid a differential diagnosis.

Katherine did so much to educate me, and I had been clueless. She worked on me with exercises and gave feedback without pressuring me to get it perfectly from the beginning.She took interest in me as a person and my situation and showed care and compassion.And it worked! I'm better now and have the tools I need to use if my cough comes back.
