I definitely would recommend the Doctor office to others .

Kate gave me very good advise for using my healing wrist. She showed me the X-rays and pointed out new bone growth. I feel confident that I can begin using the hand without harming to healing process

Kate is an excellent practitioner. That being said, I would have liked another minute or two to discuss my overall progress, about which I'm concerned. The visit felt rushed. I realize that health care providers have to manage a certain volume but I also believe that Emory Healthcare must take individual patient needs into consideration.

NP was Very Good but plan for my aftercare was a little vague. I found more info on the instruction sheet given at time of surgery. We agreed I didn't need pt but the few instructions for my own routine are vague. I will contact them this week and ask for better instructions.

Katherine Anderson took time to provide information about what she saw that needed attention, her recommendations and next steps. She did ask if I agreed and would like to proceed. She expressed concern for my situation.

My daughter was on the phone with us, and the PA was both courteous and inclusive.

This was my follow up appointment from surgery. After having the bandage taken off and the stitches removed, kate was very informative as to how I needed to care for my finger going forward. She again explained some of the procedures that happened during the surgery, so that I was sure I knew what they did to the finger in order to solve the problem. She was very kind, she was very caring, and even though she had rushed over from a consultation at the hospital, she did not seem or appear to be rushed at all.

My provider was very knowledgeable and concerned about my well being.

I have an HSA, which is a consideration about the cost of care, and this office researched the cost of next steps and diligently sent me an estimate for next steps. Also, even though I am shockingly normal, no one ever made me feel as if I was whiny about these conditions.

There are times when I'd rather see a physician than a PA, but such is not the case with Kate. Her medical skills are immediately apparent. My wife, a physician, who was with me during the appointment, also believes that Kate is an excellent medical practitioner.

I have met with Katherine Anderson several times now for the treatment and follow-up of my broken wrist and her (as well as Dr. Dempsey) have made the journey so much easier. I truly appreciate their compassionate care, their tendency to be efficient but never felt rushed and their thoroughness with everything. The whole practice has been great and though I don't want to have to go back I would in a heartbeat if I needed to.

The appointment discussed on 4/24/2024 was cancelled suddenly due to Emory's inability to obtain the patient's out-of-pocket expense. The hand surgery has of today not been rescheduled. I shudder to think what would have happened had this surgery involved a more urgent procedure. Note: this surgery remains a concern to this patient.
