Julie was great! She took the time to talk to me. Explained why I was having pains that I had. Course of treatment, next level of treatment if needed. She listened and was very easy to be comfortable with.

Dr. Julie was great at explaining what a hematoma was and what we needed to do to treat it. She explained what I should look out for and when I needed to contact them if I had issues or concerns before my next appointment.

I always prefer a physician, but the PA or Nurse Practitioner was ok for this visit.

I have been a patient at Emory since 1981 and Nurse Baumgardner has been an employee for 20+ years. It's hard to believe this is the first time I have any contact with her. A delightful person, knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. For something like my annual carotid echo exam, it makes better use of personnel resources to see a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant rather than a medical doctor. If necessary, a doctor can always be consulted.

Julie is an outstanding health care provider. Her professional skills, her empathy, her ability to explain things extrejmely well and her friendly personality make for a pleasant and rewarding medical visit.
