Dr. Vinson is one of the greatest doctors I have on my care team. He is very good at listening, including me in discussions about my care, explaining new treatment possibilities, and showing genuine care regarding my symptoms or worries. I have never felt rushed with Dr. Vinson, and his attention never waivers during our sessions. I would highly recommend him to other patients.

Dr. Vinson is an amazing doctor. He has a calming presence, is a very good listener, and always treats me with respect and dignity. He is very wise, knowledgeable, caring, and inclusive. He always includes me in discussions regarding my care. He has a way of using questioning strategies that always lead to productive and beneficial dialog. I have never felt rushed during any of our sessions and have developed a trusting relationship with him. He has helped me grow in many areas and has provided encouragement and plans to assist with issues such as treatment-resistant depression (such as developing a safety net of support, establishing plans for what to do If I am In a crisis, exploration of different treatment plans, how to speak up when I'm being ignored - or abused - by other Emory staff members, etc.).

Dr. Vinson is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with. He listened well; showed respect, compassion, and empathy; showed wisdom; and he connected with me on a personal level. As someone who is suffering with countless medical issues and severe depression, it truly helped to have a doctor who actually listened, cared, and showed genuine concern for me. Dr. Vinson also helped me develop methods for advocating for myself when other doctors ignore my pleas for help, disregard my symptoms, and/or dismiss me altogether.

Dr Vinson is an important part of my Healthcare. Our relationship started shortly after my transplant and he has helped me a great deal. We tried a few different Ned's and finally settled on one that is working well. He was arrebtative and caring regarding my reactions to the other meds, and patiently kept working with me until we hit a good option. I have a great deal of confidence in him and always enjoy and benefit from our interaction. I would recommend him without hesitation.
