I was treated extremely well by Dr. Browne, Mr. Comer And all of the staff at the Emory urology department. Additionally, the operating room staff was terrific.As a physician myself, my one recommendation is that a HoLEP Surgery is NOT An outpatient procedure. I required 18 hours of continuous bladder irrigation, and thankfully, it was kept overnight. This would not have been possible had I been discharged on the same day. Therefore, I do not recommend sending patients home who have undergone the surgery for a volume of prostate such as mine. It can only lead to unnecessary complications.

I have been experiencing difficulties with medical providers rushing me through my visit and not hearing my concerns for my health. It's almost as if I'm in emergency being treated for symptoms and not considering my overall health.
