Dr. Garcia was EXCELLENT. More than any other doctor I have ever had, I felt he Truly understood my situation and why I made the choices I did. This was very comforting and confirming as friends and family often want to push me to do things that I feel would do more harm than good. Many doctors seemed to forget about the " Do you no harm" part of medicine but he did not. He was also extremely sympathetic and made time to answer every single one of my questions and my sons questions. Even though there are not a lot of good options left for me regarding medical interventions, I really appreciated him. Now I will be better able to let my body heal itself to the extent it can with more support from my family and without second-guessing my decisions.

I asked Dr Garcia a few questions and he was patient, knowledgeable, and did not rush me with the explanation. He took a great deal of time to make sure I understood everything. He explained that I would probably need to lose some weight before considering surgery and did not make me feel guilty or bad about my struggle. He was encouraging about the weight I had lost so far. It was his suggestion at my last appointment of a weight-loss medication that led me to ask my primary care doctor about Wegovy which I'm now taking

Dr. Garcia was extremely through about explaining my options and patient about repeating information when my daughter joined us during the discussion. I did have many options, and I have never had a physician explain so many options as well and also explain the ramifications of decisions we were considering. He always answered our questions objectively and without bias. When we asked his recommendations he answered by re-explaining the facts. When we asked if a particular decision would help or hinder my outcome, he answered with "yes" or "no" He provided information but did not attempt to influence our decisions.

I asked Dr Garcia about my cholesterol medication. The medication increases muscle pain. He helped me understand the risks and benefits of taking the medication and encouraged me to try another medication in the same category before stopping the medication.

This is the very first time that my visit with Dr. Garcia was only fair in rating. I was told he was the wrong doctor for the medical problem I was having. I needed to see a shoulder doctor. Initially he said the appointment could have been a telemedicine appointment.

Wow! He's fabulous! So glad he was recommended to us.

Part of the test was to write down words the practitioner said. I asked that the volume be increased because I was having a hard time hearing. They said "No" with no explanation.Later found out that the volume and being able to understand what the individual was saying was part of the test. I was told I was "a little tense addressing the issue of the volume". I was tense because I was attempting to provide valid information to determine my mental capabilities and determine the correct course of action for my health and wellbeing.
