I was so glad to be back seeing Dr Jorge Pena-Garcia- it had been a long time in between my last visit & yesterday's visit!

Dr. Jorge Pe?a-Garcia is everything a patient could want a Geriatric doctor to be: thorough in his listening, explaining, and examinations; kind, caring, gentle, engaging, and professional. He does not rush through the appointment but is very efficient. His resident Dr. Hamiack was also outstanding in every way except that he is very soft spoken and is somewhat difficult to hear clearly. But everything else about him was outstanding.

Dr. Pena Garcia is a gentle man, and an exceptional professional. He is authentically impressive! We are blessed to be in his care.

First encounter with Dr J Pena Garcia, was very pleasant. He showed interest in my health concerns, asked relevant questions and developed a comfortable level for discussion on my healthcare. That he made clear our next treatment step was very good. My PCP @ Emory over the years, have been meeting expectation - grateful!

We were seen by the fellow first and she was absolutely amazing, she spoke Spanish and she was so caring and understanding. She took the time to get to know my grandmother and her conditions. She explained everything very well. We were then seen by Dr. Pena and he was incredible. My grandmother felt very comfortable with him, he did a full physical exam and took the time to evaluate her and help her

Always a good experience with Dr. Pena-Garcia and his staff

Dr. Pena Garcia and Dr Lassiter make a great team. I felt totally respected and listened to. They thoroughly addressed every concern I had. I am so glad we were able to get an appointment with them. I learned a lot. The written summery was outstanding. The amount of time alloted for the visit allowed the team to communicate and explain things clearly. The whole visit could not have been more perfect.

I need to know if I am taking too many supplements, I brought all of them to show the Dr. & assistant - I did not get an answer -When I looked at my chart on the computer the day after my appointment - it reads - do not eat chocolate, or tomatoes, Nothing was mentioned at my appointment time - why now? I guess I need to make a phone call and find out why, the chart does not say why I shouldn't have these items.

Dr Jorge Pena Garcia was so worth the wait. He was kind, patient and on top of everything for my aging Mom (89 y/o). We have so much confidence in her care now under this Dr. He understood and reviewed all previous hospital visits. His recommendations were spot on. One medicine she was taking could have caused Pulmonary Fibrosis but he identified and corrected the medicine. Overall 100% satisified! Great man and great Doctor

Getting phone in prescriptions filled and questions answered difficult.

I am so relieved that I again have a PCP... And that my new PCP is Dr. Penna-Garcia... He discussed, in appropriate detail, my lab values and possible side effects of specific medications.
