Dr. Delqaudio was very thorough on treatment of my care

We had high expectations because multiple staff members had mentioned that this provider was the chair of the department. However, this was one of the worst encounters I've ever had with a provider. We were first seen by an MA. Then a PA came in and asked questions. The PA left and Dr. Delgaudio entered the room sometime thereafter. When he entered, he left the door open and he began asking questions about my symptoms and recent experience. The PA then entered the room as well. He stated that the PA had updated him on the situation and then asked for an overview again. As I was providing the information, he continued to cut me off and make comments. Throughout this conversation he was preparing a camera to do an internal exam. Before I realized it, he was inserting this camera into my nose. He did not ask me if I was okay with this exam or even explain what he was doing. When he began to insert it and couldn't see, he then told me to relax. The whole experience was like this. While I understand that my symptoms had improved, I felt very belittled and honestly couldn't even tell you what they said they sent to the pharmacy for me. He basically ended the visit by telling me to use nose spray and the PA said she had sent it to the pharmacy. I still haven't heard from the pharmacy that it is there. I was just very struck by the lack of care and professionally displayed during this encounter and was disappointed that this person is a chair.

Dr DelGaudio did a great job with my surgery and follow up care
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 2/11/2026
I have been a patient of Dr. Delgaudio since 2017 and have had multiple interactions with him over the years related to surgery and post-operative follow-up care. During this time, I have often felt that my appointments were very brief and that my concerns were not fully explored before conclusions were reached. In several visits, the assessments felt rushed, and I did not feel that my additional questions or related health concerns were given thorough consideration. Most appointments have lasted less than ten minutes, which has left me feeling unheard and uncertain about the comprehensiveness of my care.I value thoughtful, patient-centered communication and would appreciate a more thorough and collaborative approach during appointments moving forward.

Dr Delgaddio had the worst bedside manner of any physician I've ever seen. He was egotistical, condescending, arrogant and unhelpful. This visit was a complete waste of time.

First class as always. Doc D and PA M are always awesome.

I was not given any advice on things to try to reduce the apparent sinusitis and risk of related infection. I had no known symptoms and was told to call back if any developed, but not given any guidance on what to lookout for.

I felt like Dr. D was in a rush to get somewhere! He was moving so quickly I forgot to get him to check my ears that I noted were hurting! Almost dismissive!

Dr. DelGaudio has the unique combination of skills that makes him one of a kind. His bedside manner is a mixture of humor, kindness, and incredible knowledge in his area of expertise.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/20/2025
Dr. Delgadio and his PA are excellent. He reviewed my history and concerns prior to seeing me which made reaching a good plan of action was quick.
- 2 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/16/2025
Doctor focused on what he wanted to talk about during the appointment and not addressing my concerns. Again called him out during the encounter for being condescending as he brushed my concerns of having an acute sinusitis episode when I scheduled my appointment with worsened headaches. He only wanted to focus on my headaches. He also was not gentle or showed any concern for the pain I was having during the rigid endoscopy
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 6/11/2025
Dr delgaudio seemed irritated that I was there. He belittled my questions, gave answers to questions I didn't ask and had a very smug attitude towards me. He made it a point to tell me he was a surgeon and not an allergist. He also made sure to tell me spends half his time correcting other doctors misdiagnosis. My audiologist and Ortanolgist (? Ear doctor) Were absolutely100% fantastic!

This is the first time that I'm taking the time to write a bad review for any medical professional, but my experience with Dr. DelGaudio and his PA (at least that's who I think she was) who came in the room with him was so unbelievably horrifying that I felt like I had to do it. The doctor was rude, condescending, and dismissive from the beginning. He did not want to see me and insisted that I either see one of his PA's or another doctor even though my appointment was specifically with him. He insisted my problems were not sinus-related and did not even give me a thorough exam. He did not listen to my concerns at all and was convinced that my problems were not sinus-related and that essentially I was imagining having sinus problems, while his PA sat on the stool next to him with a smirk on her face during the entire appointment as he essentially berated me. As a lifelong sufferer of sinus problems which have been confirmed by multiple medical professionals and imaging done in the past, I did not feel like I was evaluated properly, so I saw another specialist at another clinic, who took the time to listen to my concerns and performed an actual, thorough exam on me, said I did have a sinus Infection and gave me medications for it. I will NEVER step foot in an Emory ENT department ever again as long as they continue employing doctors and PA's like this, and you can be certain I will share my experience with others.

Everyone we were invited with were very polite knowledgeable very explanatory
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 3/15/2025
The consultation with the doctor was very good. My biggest issue was that my sinuses were not numbed before the doctor went into my nose with his tools to examine my sinuses. In past visits to my ENT, they always numb my nose before they start putting the various tools and cameras into my nose. This resulted in severe pain. I'm not sure if the MT was supposed to do this or not. I was numbed by the doctor before removing a papilloma.

Ooops, I thought I was answering about them previously! I'll repeat what I wrote here as he was extremely good!Dr. Choi saw me prior to Dr. Delgaudio and he is AMAZING! Extremely thorough in how he explains things. He is forthcoming with information about why one should be doing different rinses and how often. This sort of information is extremely valuable in post op care and I wish I had known it earlier. Dr. Choi has a very strong career ahead of him!

Absolutely fabulous experience with Dr. Delgaudio. I've been turned away from two other ENTs now in hopes of having my Eagles Syndrome diagnosed and treated. Dr. Delgaudio listened to my symptoms and concerns, made his own assessments (validating what I have been dealing with for almost 3 years now) and immediately assessed the need for surgery. Could not be more thankful for him!

The PA was informative and polite. The doctor came in fast and started up with a scope and didn't really explain much before happening. I felt kinda rushed and it was way too early. But he was thorough about everything.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/30/2024
We really did not discuss the actual procedure. This is because the dr. Needs to first consult with his radiologist on my MRI. I also am getting a CT scan this week. I brought in a CT scan done at the office of another VERY good specialist in this area, however I very much respect that he wants a higher quality one. Dr. Delgadio also performed different "tests" to check symptoms that my other highly recommended dr. Didn't do, nor ask. The last dr also did not biopsy the tumor in my nose. I had wondered why. I'm glad Dr. Delgadio did. I feel very confident having him work on me.
