Dr. Yan is perhaps the finest asset the Clinic has. Due to problems beyond her control (unexpected personal shortage, delays by others, etc.), my wife and I did not complete my treatment for several hours, being finished around 3pm or so.

Dr Yan is cold as ice. She is unsympathetic to my pain and nausea and literally said " those symptoms are better than being blind" I was completely misled about my recovery time and offered nothing to help my extreme nausea and migraines I experience daily.

Dr. Yan is a an excellent eye doctor, she is very soft-spoken, kind and attentive, most importantly experienced in treating eye problems and has a very good sense of eye issues. However it was not easy to get a detailed thorough conversation with her about my eye condition. Her medical reports and online treatment summary are excellent. Overall a very competent doctor.

The doctor seemed to be preoccupied or maybe just in a hurry to get to the next patient. I mentioned seeing a green light in my right eye and the response was don't look for trouble, trouble will find you. Then she headed to the door. I had more questions, as she was leaving I asked about getting my medical records, she responded while walking out to go to the portal. I had another question but she was gone. If someone happens to read this message I wanted to ask about eye vitamins and if the doctor had any recommendations for me.

The doctor was excellent in all of these areas.

Felt uncomfortable and didn't feel like my concerns were addressed and rush. Some if my issues involve two types of problems with my eyes and I don't feel at ease that I understand.

I was told what to do about my condition

This was the first visit with Dr Yim after Dr Jones retired. She seems very knowledgeable, concerned and listened well to my contions.

I have been treated by Dr. Yan for 13 years. She has always been an excellent doctor. I don't want anyone else to give me the shots in my eyes that I needed frequently for 7 years. In fact I followed her from Lawrenceville wen she no longer worked there.

Dr. Yan, has always discussed my treatment, and her plan of action for my eyes.

I informed the new doctor of my previos severe reaction to the antiseptic used for shots. She did ?ot offer any alternative but instead applied it and left it in my eye for several minutes while she consulted another doctor about a program on her computerResult. An agonizing reaction that went on format least 8 hours. My previous doctor somehow found a wsy to avoid this

I will see this doctor for my diabetic retina needs yearly.

Dr Yan and her staff are as good as it gets, and Emory is lucky to have them.

The session was short, attention was more with the attending included in the session than with me, and I received very little clarity re: my condition relative to current result compared to past results.

Every time that I have seen Dr. Yan, I have been very impressed by her. I once again received very kind and gentle and professional care. Her explanations are always thorough and she makes sure that I totally understand. She's a wonderful listener and I know she is an excellent retinal specialist. When I thanked her for agreeing to see me, despite my tardiness, she said "but of course, when the receptionist comes to ask me, I will say yes. After all, patients frequently have to wait for physicians ". I know I can find a retinal specialist Closer to my home, but the care that I received there and the knowledge of the care that I will continue to receive under her care is certainly worth the inconvenience of the location. I would recommend her to anyone.
