My overall experience with Dr Wells has been great But I saw her fellow first - who was very good and very communicative, but I felt my subsequent conversation with Dr Wells was a little abbreviated and I was given different info and timeline on follow up treatment than I was given before which bothered me.

I'm very much appreciate Dr Wells and the level of care she has provided over the past 2-3 years. When needed she sought the opinion of additional experts and I respect and appreciate that as well. She also listens well and tries to answer all of my questions.

Dr Wells spent only a few minutes talking to me at the end of my appointment. She said that my eye looked fine and when I complained about pain in the eye she said that the gel used during the ultrasound was causing it. She did not tell me of any way to relieve the pain, or how long the pain would persist. In fact, my eye was bruised and painful for at least 36 hours and my vision was blurry for longer than that.

Dr. Wells is obviously one of, if not the best ophthamolic expert providers in the country and I will be very disturbed if I cannot schedule another follow with her.

Have had nothing but good experiences with all involved.

The ultrasound technician was amazing. She did an outstanding job ! She was very gentle and didn't press down onto my eyeball. This was the first time I didn't feel pain during my eye ultrasound. Thank you :)

Dr. Wells is the best eye doctor. I drive over an hour to see her every visit. She cares about her patients more than any other doctor and takes time to listen to all of my concerns. She's bright and I wouldn't trust my eyes to anyone else. I hope Emory is able to keep her.
