I was a referral to Dr. Whitney probably unknowingly he operated from my doctor's notes l believe. He was nice and answered my questions to my satisfaction he just didn't offer anything prior too a question outside an introduction. However l did feel comfortable and would recommend him l just felt he could exhibit better "bedside manners" they really go along way with patients .

I was extremely impressed with Dr Whitley! He listened well, showed concern, provided a solid course of care and even was able tonwork me in that day for a first round of shockwave therapy! I was so happy with the cate he provided for me that I now have my husband scheduled to see him for a nagging chronic sports injury!

I just thought the appointment went very fast. I was handed out printouts of what exercises to do and how to check if I am ready to get back to playing sports. I still had some questions which I did not get time to ask the doctor because it seems like he was rushing through the appointment

My worst appointment with Emory in five years

The Dr read my test results and was through in his explanation of the results. I truly feel the area that was tested was not the area in which my pain resides. It was deemed the test results were inconclusive for the area in which I was seeking treatment. I felt the need for a second opinion and after that doctor reviewed the imaging, he determined I have scar tissue forming on y uterus which has caused a femoral hernia in the area and is leaking fluid into my hip area! This pain has been going on for quite some time and it's very disappointing the ordering provider didn't see this problem when reading my results.

Dr Whitley was awesome. He made a CORRECT diagnosis of my injuries. I was told my Elbow was fractured and my ankle was "not swelling on x-ray" per the Urgent Care I saw the day before.

Dr. Whitley was fantastic. Since I have had a complicated orthopedic history, I had some reluctance with starting with a new provider. Dr. Whitley was a great listener, explained my xrays and diagnosis, and gave a comprehensive overview of treatment options. He was efficient and never appeared rushed. He gave me ample opportunities to ask questions and gave clear follow up instructions. He gave me a cortisone shot in each knee to give me some immediate relief and get me through an upcoming physically strenuous six weeks. I will then contact him to set up a series of gel injections. He was personable, communicative, and strategic in his recommendations. I look forward to working with him and feel great about meeting him.
