About the Provider
Dr. Freeman has a special interest in bleeding disorders that particularly manifest as problems in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Heavy menstrual bleeding often is the first sign and more often than not is tolerated for many years before it is recognized as such. Many women will never suspect the true cause of the excessive bleeding that they have experienced. In addition to diagnosing these bleeding disorders, Dr. Freeman also works to treat them in medicinal ways and minimally invasive surgical ways. She thoroughly counsels them as to how these disorders may impact other areas of their lives. Another interest is working with heavy menstrual bleeding unrelated to bleeding disorders that may also respond to medications and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She keeps abreast of the latest emerging technologies in noninvasive genetic diagnosis that are relevant to the practice of obstetrics and gynecology.
