About the Provider
A Fellow of the American College of Surgery, Dr. Foote is a specialist in the study and practice of female urology and complex voiding function. A native Ohioan, she received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1984. She then met internship and surgical residency requirements at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. She then trained in urology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She completed her fellowship in female urology, urinary incontinence, and reconstructive surgery atKaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
In addition to her academic background, Dr. Foote gained recognition in 2012, when she was selected by her peers as an outstanding practicing doctor in the Atlanta Super Doctors. She was also nominated by Black Health Magazine during their 2012 National Black Health AwardsBanquet honoring Atlanta's most influential African American Doctors. She is board certified inFemale Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as urology. She is the director of the Urodynamic Clinic at Emory University Hospital at Midtown.
Dr. Foote is a practicing urologist and is the vice-president at Midtown Urology, P.C. and Midtown Urology Surgical Center. She holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor at Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University School of Medicine and has been the recipient of many awards.
Dr. Foote has also been involved in clinical research where she has been the PrincipalInvestigator for trials conducted at Midtown Urology, P. C., as well as Shepherd Spinal Center. She is a frequent speaker to both professional and lay groups.
