NP Fischer did a really good job of asking questions to review some probable causes to my issue. We were able to have some discussions about what I've used and what worked in the past, and tried to give her reasonings as to why she had certain differential diagnoses regarding my chief complaint. As someone in the medical field, and knowing that there are a lot of things that simple symptoms can be, I appreciate her trying to simply things, even though I have prior knowledge to a lot of what she was referring to.

Apart from being late for the appointment, which appears to be the norm for most Emory providers, the visit was fine. It appears there are insufficient providers for the number of patients Emory has to provide care.

The meeting felt rushed and there didn't seem to be any concern.

My NP Sister Jeannine Fischer has earned my complete trust concerning the care for my health. She is very compassionate. She's caring and she's very smart. And when I leave the visit I don't have anything that's not answered. She takes care of all my medical concerns during my visit. I hope she stays with Emory for a long time. I have been a patient of Emory at Eagles Landing for over 8 years. It is a wonderful medical practice. Sometimes at a medical practice, there might be one or two doctors or medical providers that really stands out, but at Emory, you have providers that are golden! They are actually Health advocates. She walked in and said "good to see you again". This was my first time meeting her. At that point, I realized how disconnected she was to her patients. She immediately started talking about my blood pressure being elevated and started typing in a prescription. She did not ask me any questions, to determine factors of my elevated blood pressure. She NEVER asked me if I had any other concerns. I will change providers because I don't want to be treated as a number or statistic. I want to know the physician is genuinely concerned with my health.
