I am pleased to see that Emory has someone of Dr. Peragallo's expertise for Adult Strabismus. They have several surgeons for pediatric strabismus (aka Amy Hutchinson) but it is rare that they have had someone who focuses on Adult Strabismus as the care does require a slightly different approach.

Three separate providers assisted in my exam to include Dr. Peragallo. I felt like I received the most intensive eye exam possible. They all took their time in explaining my condition and possible treatment. Dr. Peragallo is a gift to the Atlanta area. I would not consider anyone else to perform my upcoming strabismus surgery.

I had this procedure previously at another hospital so I had a perspective to compare how I was cared for originally versus now and the experience with Emory was 100% better
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/18/2024
Dr. Peragallo is an outstanding physician/surgeon. He answered all my questions and listened to my request. The culture of his entire staff was excellent.
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/20/2024
My care with my Doctors appointment was Okay.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 9/17/2024
I think much of the info can't be answered at a given time because much of the healing and success of adjustments depends on my self care and how well my brain will adjust to the surgical adjustments. The following is a statement about all the Emory doctors with a follow up statement, they are in medical terms, and I would have to look up many words to know what was said. Dr. Peragallo always asks if I have questions; he has patience and kindly responds to my questions. It's now a wait and see (in the literal sense).
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 8/21/2024

I would highly recommend Dr. Peragallo to anyone seeking a qualified eye surgeon for his expertise. He is an incredibly gifted surgeon; close to a miracle worker in my experience! He is a wonderful communicator, very articulate and takes time to listen and makes sure your questions or concerns are answered before you leave so you have a better understanding.

It was a relief to see Dr Peragallo. Though I had not seen him in 11 years (and he was not my attending physician at the time), he remembered me, my surgery and my condition.
