Dr. Woo is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Dr. Woo received his Medical Degree from Seoul National University in South Korea. He earned his PhD in Genetics from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After completing PhD training, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center/University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Woo's research focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms of hematologic disorders with a particular interest in the biological and molecular consequences of clonal hematopoiesis and developing new therapeutic modalities in hematological malignancy.
