I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chang. I am new to Georgia and the Emory system and locating him as my vascular surgeon was a BIG blessing. He is kind, compassionate, caring and an amazing listener. After running 45 min behind on my initial visit (due to surgery), I really thought I'd be rushed through my appt time knowing he also had a full waiting room. However I was NOT as he took his time with me and listened very carefully to my health issues (as you see this was my first visit with him after arriving from CA). He truly was awesome and appreciate how he cares for his patients.

The telemedicine call was late by 30 minutes and this was my first call and no one told me how it would be done

Doctor Chang is great.

Dr Chang is actually not my regular doctor. He is covering for Dr Clark, so he is extremely busy and always in a hurry with his extra patient load. This prevents him from having the time to talk to the patients. I will say he is exceptionally polite and kind, and from what little I have seen, he is knowledgeable but just so rushed.

Very pleased with this physician. Absolutely one of the best I've consulted with. Can't say enough good things about our experience and consultation. Very honest and straightforward communicator.

Even though Doctor Chang was running far behind and even with a crowded waiting room of patients, he arrived and took care of my needs without acting rushed through my appt. He listened, had eye contact the entire time and I felt valued as a patient.

This was the first time I met with Dr. Chang since Dr. Clark is out on LOA. He was very upbeat, energetic, bright, and impressive. My only recommendation for Dr. Chang is for him to remember when patients have a test run at American Health Imaging, they get a copy of the results, which show the radiologist's impression. So instead of him breezing in and just saying "everything was normal" when they know it was not completely normal, is not in the patient's best interest. Take just a couple minutes to discuss what was seen and then explain why it is not of a concern.

I wouldn't be here to answer this survey without Dr.Chang and team. That said he has been fantastic across the board. My condition had some very grim possibilities, he didn't hide that. He was clear in what the best path forward was, and gave me confidence even if the worst happened it was not because of lack of effort, knowledge, or concern. Basically I felt (fell) like if there were to be a positive outcome he and his staff were how to get it.

Dr Chang is a fine Dr. You see vascular surgeon because you have a potencially life threatening medical issue. It can be scary. Even after successful EVAR surgery there is monitoring and you have concerns about what might lie ahead. Dr Chang addresses every one of your concerns. He will also recommend tests that help keep you ahead of potential problems down the line. A person with his skill could be arrogant or come off as aloof.
