I m new to Emory Healthcare and having to have all "new" providers.... After leaving past group that knew me well and I truly was happy with (due to distance/transportation no longer "doable for me & my family) I am feeling comfortable, coping well with your "program", and just really inclusive professional staff. Dr Bates certainly made me feel he had familiarized with my history & I felt secure. A+ for sure.

Dr. Bates took 25 minutes to see me after my radiation treatment. It never takes that long to get ask a few questions by a Dr. When I was awaiting for Dr. Bates, after 20 minutes I walked out to the nurse's station to ask the nurse what is taking so long for the Dr. To come and see me then she stated I'll let him know again 10 minutes later he came in and asked a few general questions which I didn't hear nothing he said. My time is just as valuable than his time. Dr. Bates knew he was wrong because he came into the room apologizing for the delay. I was very upset how I got handled that day. Dr. Godette is the Doctor that have been seeing me. She is very prompted and she never had me waiting that long before. She is great for the Emory Cancer department.
