About the Provider

Dr. James A. Dolak is the director of Obstetric Anesthesia at Emory University Hospital Midtown, as well as being the fellowship director of Obstetric Anesthesia at Emory University School of Medicine. He is a member of the L&D Quality Enhancement Committee at EUHM. His clinical expertise and research interests include:  cardiac disease in pregnancy, coagulation disorders in pregnancy, multimodality post-cesarean pain relief and its maternal/neonatal impact, pharmacology of uterotonic agents, embolic disorders of pregnancy and musculoskeletal disorders in pregnancy (scoliosis, short stature).

Interpretive Services

To provide the highest quality of care, interpreter services may be utilized to ensure proper communication of medical information for deaf, hard-of-hearing, and non-English speaking patients or family members.
