Before my visit, I was hopeful that I would find a doctor that immediately felt right. And Dr Jae Sim proved to be that Doctor.

Dr Sims is excellent. In comes very prepared with diagnostic papers and takes time to explain issues and give suggestions to help improve my blood sugars. I have never had a doctor who was so prepared for the office visit.

The Doctor was very nice, this was our first visit with this doctor. He took time to review my current care and made an adjustment to my medication. Prior to this visit we had been goinggg to Emory midtown my provider there was great but she left practice so we had to find a. New provider I am happy with his case management.

Dr. Sim is does not seek to involve me in my care. He never asked how I was feeling or how my high TSH was impacting me. He looks at the computer throughout the visit and then sends me to get labs done and then adjusts my synthroid. There's not really any care for me as a patient - which is why I delay my appointments, which impacts my care. Vicious circle.

Doc lowered med at last visit then sugar # went up and doc is surprised. Didnt raise med back to where it was before. Confused why lowered in first place and now frustrated bc A1C elevated and doc won't put med back at former dosage. Kidney doc today told him to go back to higher dosage so going to.

The mediocre rating is related to my f/u. I hadn't seen him 2 yrs..life just got in the way and I wasn't following my vists for him. He didn't appreciate that I had let it go so long. Therefore, this tainted my visit. If I didn't see him for 2 years, why should he interested in my care. Thinly veiled anger. I sent a message to him after my visit. I agreed I would be proactive in my health.

The Doctor didn't know how to go to Peachtree Urgent Care to review my visit report. He said he couldn't access their records.
