I was referred to Dr.Jacob Wilson for total hip replacement 3 months ago. He was a great bedside manner and he, along with his staff were extremely efficient. He sees his patients in a timely manner. His knowledge and practice as a surgeon is patient focused. The day of surgery he and the surgical team were well prepared and not a single need of mine was neglected. His office visits following my hip have been awesome. Dr. Wilson will certainly be my choice should I need any more orthopedic surgery. Thank you to Dr. Wilson and all the staff!

His concern about my other medical situation and the information she gave me which what made me really remember him and made his assessment exceptional. Thanks to him, I now know about other potential medical problems I could face. He deserves a five star rating and a raise

Thorough explanation and questions answered

Dr. Wilson listened to me (very important) probed and poked my knee. He explained what was happening and why it was happening. Gave recommendations and went on to say what next steps would be if those recommendations did not work out for me. All in all it was an excellent visit. Dr. Janice B was just as helpful and explained things to me while probing and poking my knee! She will be a very good attending physician!

Dr. Wilson has spent a lot of time at each visit examining my leg, explaining the X-rays, discussing the status of my knee, how the surgery went, next steps in my recovery ( short term, intermediate and long term ), examining the functionality of my leg, and addressing any additional questions I had. He is a wonderful surgeon, especially for complicated knee revisions.

I would recommend Dr Wilson for his commitment to the care for his patients. He is very thorough and extremely dedicated to the care and comfort of his patients for any procedures he is doing. I was very thankful for his thoughtfulness of my comfort and care for a Hip Aspiration procedure that he did. I was so afraid it would hurt me and he made sure I would not be in any pain by ordering a General Anesthesia . The Emory Hospital and Staff were also wonderful. I received the best of care by all that I met the day of my procedure.

Dr. Wilson, out of seeing 3 other Orthopaedics doc was the only to identify my pain and point out the crack in my hip bone.

I understand his job is to weigh the risk versus outcome, but that's not happened here. I would absolutely not recommend his bedside manner or vindictive behavior but I'm sure he has skills and education. That's not really enough.
