About the Provider

Dr. Badell is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Transplantation at Emory University School of Medicine. He also serves as the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Kidney Program for Emory Transplant Center.  Dr. Badell received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 2006, after which he came to Emory for his general surgery residency and abdominal organ transplantation fellowship, which he completed in 2015. Within this period of clinical training, he completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and a post-doctoral research fellowship in transplant immunology at Emory Transplant Center. During his clinical fellowship he focused on basic immunology and clinical trial investigations. His clinical practice consists primarily of kidney/pancreas transplantation.

    They were very informative I had some doubts about my wounds on my feet but they assured me that they would get someone to look at it and help with trying to get it here in which they did and I was very grateful but I was out so proud of them for showing that extra effort
