It was refreshing to get actual information from our providers, as well as feeling like our concerns were heard.

The NP offered minimal information, did not respond well to my attempt at advocating to see my baby again with better imaging, and excused my concern in a passive way.

Dr. Hosier was very communicative and comforting when delivering a difficult diagnosis, explaining my options, and helping our family navigate next steps. I felt well informed and supported throughout the duration of my visit.

Overall, my provider was okay. It did feel a little bit like she didn't believe me and/or wasn't listening at times. I felt this way because her responses did not align with the information I had already communicated to her. I sometimes had to restate what I just said because the advice or information she communicated created the impression she wasn't listening or wasn't taking what I was saying seriously.Other than having to speak up for myself a little more than I believe I should have, the visit overall was okay.

Changed plan of care without my knowledge

Once the technician leaves, the doctor comes in with a summary of the ultrasound. I do understand the maternity center is busy, but the doctor always comes in as if they are in a rush. Not really giving much information or seeming to want to answer many questions. The nurses and technicians are great but the doctors seem preoccupied.

Dr. Hosier was amazing. She even called to ensure correct information was in my chart and decided to bring me back in to check in.
