Because of the way I've always been treated I would never go anywhere else.

I would recommend this provider to anyone who has a person they care for with spinal disorder be ause they care.

I would only recommend those who will not be intimidated by his style service.

Didn't get to ask all the questions I had, but I wouldn't say I was rushed

Dr was very informative

A computer was not used, notes by the doctor were hand written. I was shown paper copies of the X-rays I had brought on a disk. I felt it was a good appointment once he arrived. It was short but I'm sure time was spent going over my records, the X-rays and the radiology report I brought with me.I have gone into MyChart and printed the Daily Progress Note. I have also scheduled my first PT appointment as recommended in my appointment.

I am an Emory provider, Dr Monfared seemed more focused on L spine and not the SI pain I had come in with. Ordered MRI which did not address SI pain. Offered invasive modalities first and after asking for non opioid pharm was given Rx for lyrica.

Didn't explain, got argumentative, wasn't friendly or kind, doesn't care at about the quality of my life or wellbeing. One it was discovered I don't need surgery he couldn't have hustled me out the door more quickly. Most depressing ortho visit I've ever had

Provider went out of his way to address a related problem and make sure I had an appointment with a specialist who could treat a particular problem. His staff arranged an appointment for me with this specialist within 2days. My physician was very obviously genuinely concerned.

Dr jumped to assuming I had an injury when I repeatedly insisted no injury caused my pain. He was quick and blunt and made me feel like I did something wrong. He gave information without leaving me time to react or process. He brushed over my concerns about continuing my lifestyle with my diagnosis and left me feeling hopeless.

This was a second opinion so I brought an MRI and X-ray. I'm not sure how much time the Dr. Spent looking at those tests before my visit with him (understandable if he couldn't spend a huge amount of time) but I wondered at times how much he actually saw of the test since I brought them with me to the appointment.

Dr. Monfared's care, concern and treatment were outstanding.

Health care Provider didn't provide other options for treatment other than pills surgery and injections.

When they did come in, I tried to talk about it and other things it could be but as long as the mri was clean he didn't care to listen to anything else possible wrong

Excellent care and interest in following up. Dr explained in easy words my treatment, meds and answered all my questions

Stuck on one etiology when there more than one. I thought he was pain doctor and would look at all etiologies. Little attention to physical medicine and knowing patient history. Two years of evaluation and saying not in spine.

Once he determined that I was not pain management, he said I should speak with a surgeon. There was nothing more he could do. Fair enough, but pretty cold. Also, the MRI noted a 5cm cyst on my kidney, he said nothing. I guess I expected referral to a nephrologist.

Dr. Montfared is kind and extremely encouraging, while letting me know the facts. I appreciate the facts.

The doctor may have been having a bad day due to the previously mentioned delay. He was polite and asked if I had questions, but I didn't have a chance to explain my symptoms fully before he diagnosed me. Perhaps it was that clear cut to him, but it left me wondering if what he identified is the true cause of my current symptoms or just a long-term issue lingering in the background.

We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my mom has received from Dr Monfared and his team. Doctor has put a remarkable level of empathy, and expertise listening to my mom's concerns (thankfully I don't need to translate for her). Dr. Monfared took the time to thoroughly explain my mom's treatment options with patience and clarity. So grateful.

Dr. Monfared was very informative. He took his time to explain everything. What he saw in my MRI, what he thought was going on and what he could do to relieve my pain. I left there feeling really good about my visit.

He did not seem to be concerned about the pain I have been in and dismissed any issues I pointed out to him and said he sees the movement in my bones that shouldn't be happening but aren't major issues but for my age they are major issues and have been causing problems for me, I felt dismissed and under looked

I'm a bit frustrated that nothing I have tried to date has been much help in relieving pain. Dr. Monafred was not to be dissuaded. He has a plan and voiced confidence in being able to find a treatment that works. I left more encouraged.
