About the Provider
Ms. Grace Thompson Bell is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in malignant hematology. She treats patients with lymphoma and plasma cell disorders, including multiple myeloma.
Ms. Thompson Bell rejoined Emory Winship Cancer Institute in 2024 after spending several years at a community oncology practice, where she managed a wide range of oncologic and hematologic conditions. Previously, she worked at Emory Winship as part of the inpatient hematology team. She graduated from Emory University’s nurse practitioner program and holds dual certifications in adult-gerontology acute care and adult-gerontology primary care. Ms. Thompson Bell remains actively involved with the Emory School of Nursing, serving as a clinical instructor and guest lecturer.
Passionate about patient education, Ms. Thompson Bell empowers her patients to become their own health advocates. Her goal is to provide high-quality, evidence-based care while fostering collaborative relationships with her patients.
Ms. Thompson Bell is married, has two daughters, and resides in Decatur. Her home is lively with a menagerie of pets, including two terriers, five reptiles, and two spiders.
