Dr. McGorisk spends better quality time with me than ANY doctor I have ever seen or even heard of. I won't just recommend him. I will INSIST that my friends go see him.

Dr. McGorisk is a superb cardiologist and diagnostician. He always involves patients in decision making and is a caring and concerned collaborator with his patients. He provides up-to-date research data regarding heart and total body health-his knowledge is vast. He is always concerned about the person under his care, and treats his patients like family.

Dr. McGorisk CARES and LISTENS. Nothing but good follows when you have an incredibly smart doctor who cares and listens. He documents what you say very well - he's compassionate - and he works hard to develop solutions to your problems.

I have been seeing Dr. McGorisk at this location for over 3 years. Since that time the number of patients has increased to the point where he is always rushing from room to room. I understand he is only at this location one day each week but there are to many appointments scheduled for that day. I would rather wait a week or two and get an appointment where he spends more time discussing my problems and concerns than looking at a computer screen dictating notes. Don't misinterpret this comment Dr. McGorisk is very thorough and I have confidence in his judgement and knowledge. The issue is the time spent with each patient has decreased. There should be more time and less patients per day.

The the doctor was professional listened looked at my entire history and chart went through everything I was taking medications for I was pretty impressed. I would go back to him without a problem. Even discuss taking a new injectable medication and how it affect or not affect my heart. Asked me about any and all concerns even discuss weight management with a future bariatric surgeon I was going to see the following week. He was so easy to talk to in an impressive listener. Just needed somebody from the office to say it would be a little while longer or something but to wait almost an hour with no discussion by staff was my only concern this entire visit. Both the doctor and nurse were exceptional.
