He took the time to clearly explain my condition, surgical approach, and expected outcomes, and I felt included in the decision-making process. His communication was thorough and helped build confidence moving forward with treatment.My surgical experience was well-coordinated, and I appreciate the care provided during that phase. My recovery has been more complex and has required ongoing coordination across multiple aspects of care. During this time, I remained actively engaged in my care and advocacy. When directly involved, Dr. Berdis was attentive and responsive, which was meaningful during a challenging recovery process.

Dr Berdis tells you the possible needed procedures and does not hold back. He can be trusted to begin an operation and know just how far to go and no more than needed. He went beyond expectations by visiting me daily while in the hospital and helped coordinate his appointments with the infectious disease specialist off campus.

Any recommendations I would give for Dr. Berdis would be very good but they would also be accompanied with my experience on difficulty of just getting an appointment and communicating, which is unnecessarily difficult and lengthy

Dr. Berdis & his Assistant described a recent issue I had with surgery site so that I could understand what was happening!

Dr. Berdis explained everything in detail and was very patient with all of my many questions!

He removed about 70 staples from my knee and was very careful and considerate of any discomfort.

I had an infection in a replacement joint and Dr. Berdis was able to schedule surgery for the Monday following this Wednesday appointment. Very quick as this was urgent. I so appreciate him and his amazing team for getting me in for the visit to diagnose and getting me in to clear the infection before it became life-threatening.

I needed to know the process of how they were going to put it in where the bones are going to be cut how is going to be attached but in his defense I didn't ask but it would have been nice to know.
