I inadvertently clicked the forward error before finishing my response about the cognitive function test I was given. Here is the rest of my answer. I was handed a very small tablet and had to use a stylus to answer the questions. I had the tablet on my knees so did not have adequate support which added to my difficulty in responding. The results of my test were that I did have cognitive function issues. I explained that I had not heard the questions and would have done better have I been able to respond to these questions on a desk or table of some kind so that it wasn't constantly moving around in my lap while I was responding. I was asked to remember three words and I could not even hear the third word and that of course reflected badly on my ultimate score.

Dr. Turton is an excellent doctor. He listens to you, and builds a trusting relationship. He always is very professional and has always addressed my issues and provides motivation to make changes in my health.

In one issue, the MD reviewed after the appointment an earlier test result of concern. He actually left a voice message on my iphone to ease my concern saying that he had reviewed the test and found there was not a problem after all. That was such a helpful call as I had already begun to worry about it!

My wife and I both use Dr. Frederick Turton and love him. He makes you feel like you want go to any appointment either regular visits or illness and avoids the anxiety normally associated with interactions with the medical community. His opinions are very crisp and thoughtful and, therefore very trustworthy. He involves you in your care decisions very effectively, provides options for care when options are appropriate.

Dr. Turton was concerned about low blood glucose readings I have recently experienced, and I appreciate his desire to change to another medication for my diabetes, however I tend to experience reactions to many medications and feel comfortable with this medication, so he graciously offered to decrease the strength of my medication to alleviate the issue. I am grateful for his ever-present care and concern for me.

Dr Frederick turton has been my primary care physician for 3 plus years. He always has a wonderful bedside manner, listens to my questions and gives responses and lets me know if I am worrying too much about something that I shouldn't worry about. That is very important to me since I have had doctors in the past, not from Emory who barely speak to me and rarely showed actual interest in what I was telling them and did not give me explanations the way Dr Turton does. The best part of my visit was the doctor talking to me about my health. Based on my blood analysis, things I need to change or improve to support my health. The doctor was very patient with me in discussing some possible changes in my medication. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to change some of my medication. Overall, my doctor showed concern for my health and recommended that I work hard to take my medications as prescribed.
