Dr. Abbas received her medical degree from the University of Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine, after which she completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Nephrology Fellowship at Barnes Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO.
Dr. Abbas joins the Emory Transplant Center as an Assistant Professor of Medicine within the Renal Division of the Department of Medicine.Her clinical practice focuses on kidney and pancreas transplantation.

Dr Abbas is very nice. Also I appreciated her visiting with me while I was in the process of receiving my monthly infusion which I thought was a good use of time for both her and me. She is so pleasant and I am thankful she is my doctor.
