The procedure was fairly long and I was ready for it to be over before it was, but I feel that everything was done as it should have been.

I shared that I struggled with blurry vision and sensitivity to light and was told there's nothing I that could be done other than consider cataract surgery which I shared was not an option. The next day when I received a reminder to view my prescription refill, I scrolled down to review the side effects, which included the symptoms I complained about during my visit! I sent a request to review my options for using a different eye drop and I am awaiting a response.

Dr. Gulaid is a class act. She is always professional, and she talks to you and listens to all concerns.

Dr. always explain what the problem is what she's gonna do about it or if you need medication or she'll make sure that she watch your eyes in a special way she is wonderful

Dr. Gulaid was very polite and respectful in the way she treated me, as usual. I'm not sure about her knowledge of the oroal medication she prescribed to lower my eye pressures; Acetazomalide, which was a large part of the cause of my hospitalization 3 days later. She mentioned that it could have a lot of side effects, as she was reading the drug information.. She should have sought a MEDICAL doctor's opinion about using this drug and dosing with all of the other meds I was taking at the tiime.

She was/is very attentive, respectful, knowledgeable of my history; and respectful.

I was concerned about the pain I would suffer from the eye scan, but doctor Gulaid had the forethought to request that it be performed through my eyelid. Once I was in the room being seen by her, she was her usual thorough self.

I really liked Farah Guilaid. She listened to me, and was wonderful in how she cared for me and explained things. I do get the feeling she is over worked. I saw her 3 hours after I should have and she did not have time to read my chart ahead of time. Days before the appointment I had sent in a note asking for the DR to read my chart.

The provider failed to treat a serious condition that was diagnosed by a different non Emory provider in my left eye 7 days later.I feel that my time was wasted and parking fees

Dr. Gulaid seemed terribly rushed on this visit. She usually is clearly very under the gun timewise, but still typically takes the time to listen to my questions and discuss fully. I hate to hold her at any fault, though, given Emory Ophthalmology's reputation for being terribly understaffed and EHC's for pressuring its doctors to turn over patients so rapidly.
