It was great to finally see Dr. Ahmad and he was very clear in explaining the spinal issues shown in my latest MRI. Dr. Ahmad was transparent and his recommendations were easy to understand.

Dr Ahmad was very understanding of my situation _ after hearing all I had to say _ he quickly looked into handling my problem _ checked his schedule for a cancellation and asked if I was available _ understanding that the waiting period for this type of surgery is 2 months _ I am thankful that I was very well accommodated _ Dr. Ahmad put me at ease from being afraid _ to have the surgery and I am grateful to him for that.

Dr Ahmed is a star, but this is a very complicated case and since I am a orthopedic surgeon since I've done this type of surgery before I just don't think that he understood the issues involved. I made it clear to him that I was also being evaluated at the Mayo Clinic And their opinion was very different from his and after this discussion, I think the Mayo Clinic logic and reasoning is more appropriate.

Dr Ahmed was very thorough! Didn't try to rush the appointment! Listened to all my questions and answered them each one!

The whole appointment I was diagnosed as being fat. I never felt so awkward and ashamed in a doctor office before.

Suggested other tests and in person visit.. Never heard back from him

Although this doctor is undoubtedly very smart and tops in his field, like many top doctors, he failed to understand or convey an understanding or convey sympathy with my unfortunate situation in that my symptoms make no sense and there is no solution to the problem.

Dr. Ahmad was detailed, prepared, and fully engaged during the visit. He listened, understood, respected, and addressed every concern I had about my cervical condition. I could go to a hospital much closer to my home and more convenient. But, I will go to Emory St. Joseph's because of Dr. Ahmad's skill and judgement.

He and his nurse practioner seemed knowledgeable, discussed the availability of an opening for the type of surgery and the process of down time and recuperating over a minimal invasive surgery of one to two days.

Dr. Ahmad was 100% all we had hoped he would be. He took all the time needed to explain my issues to us, to evaluate the tests that had been done beforehand, to think through what would be reasonable to help me, and at all times encouraged my participation in the decision making. My wife is an experienced RN, and have the doctor both thumbs up!

Dr. Ahmad is very knowledgeable and professional. I was very pleased with him and his ability to recognize my problems.

He was UNPREPARED! I had several conversations with staff prior to visit to give them the information they needed including films and reports. It was obvious that no films or reports were available. I even brought films to the appointment but they did not get loaded or viewed.

Dr. Ahmad is though and detailed. He as patient care at the top of his priorities and is very clear as to expectations.

I didn't feel like he really understands the level of pain and discomfort I'm going through, maybe he does. But he didn't seem to show me that or made me feel that way. I didn't feel any connection with him, and I waited two months to get to see him. The entire appointment was under 10 minutes, I was just shocked and short for words. Honestly speaking!It wasn't wait I envision the appointment to be. Seriously!

Dr. Ahmad gave me complete confidence in his ability to perform the proposed surgery for my condition. He allowed me to discuss all issues at hand, with an open mind, and the idea to be noninvasive with his approach to my specific situation. He suggested injections for pain C-1 and C-2 vertebrae. We decided to get get C-4 vertebra off nerve most important.

Dr. Ahmad is the best! Was genuinely glad to see me, specific about condition and my options. Always pleasant. Put me right at ease. Great experience...as always.
