Fabienne is fantastic, very knowledgeable about genes, their variants and potential impacts on our health. During my cancer investigation I did gene testing but until I met with Fabienne I couldn't get much explanation of the meaning and findings other than it's not a factor. Fabienne explained which genes could impact the various cancers in my family and that the variant that I have is not likely related as well as which cancers it could be associated with and what my daughter should watch for even though this variant doesn't appear to be active. Fabienne was patient, thorough and provided me with relevant research on the NIH Pub Med site.

She was very kind, knowledgeable, and able to explain things to us and also welcomed our questions. She was a joy even though our visit was not for good reasons.

Toward the end of the conversation she made a few comments about my strong family history of cancer that seemed insensitive/unprofessional. I am well aware of how strong my family history of cancer is but I was a little shocked to hear her say that "it would get probably get me" eventually.

I would recommend Genetic Testing for anyone, especially if there is cancer in the family. There are new tests available and just being aware could save lives by catching it earlier. The more we know. Fabienne explains it in a way we could all understand. I was so very impressed with her (previous testing was at Northside on 2014)
