Emily took all my concerns seriously. Even though I was worried about a hobby (playing tennis) and how out of breath I was, she understood that quitting it was a quality of life reduction I wanted to avoid. She scheduled a treadmill test and even came by while it was going on. I feel like she really heard my concerns and addressed them with the least intervention possible, making it clear that we would look at lifestyle changes and then move on to medication if that didn't do the trick. She was very clear about starting an exercise program and how to do it.

Emily is very competent and always shows concern for my condition. She explains everything and answers all of my questions. I feel very fortunate that I have her as well as Dr. McGorisk to provide the excellent care that I have at Emory.

She made certain that the physicians doing the surgery had the assessment before I left so there wasn't any delays.
