I would like to express a concern regarding my recent interaction with Ms. Emily. During our conversation, she made minimal eye contact and appeared irritated or disengaged. When I asked questions, her responses were very brief and came across as uncaring, and she seemed quick to end the interaction.This behavior made me feel uneasy, and this is not the first time I have experienced this type of interaction with her. I am bringing this to your attention because I value respectful and professional communication and would like this matter addressed.

I don't feel she had any compassion for my pain. I am already doing the protocols she recommended. She didn't seem to check my file and prescribed a medication that interacted with something else I take. She referred me back to pain management where I am already being treated. I honestly feel like she blew me off I would like a referral to another podiatrist who is more compassionate and aggressive with treatment

Very rushed visit . Provider did not appear interested in understanding the problems leading to compliance issues. Provider did seem very empathetic

I didn't get the sense that the provider had any special knowledge about how the foot holds together, what the risks, causes, and collateral implications of the injury were. I got an out of the box lecture that it sounds like she gives many times a day.

She provides a sense of hope for recovery or coping with plantar fasciitis and gives you resources for orthopedics. Practical resources for shoes and how to wear them even around the house.

The doctor had great bed side manners. She was thorough, knowledgeable, concern, and calming. She did a wonderful job of making me feel heard and comfortable. I would certainly recommend her to family and friends.

Dr rushed into room,quickly introduced herself,said something too fast & quiet but I got the gist she was getting approval fir computer program. Not terribly friendly & out in 10 minutes. She was in such a hurry I had to ask the nurse for exercises that were recommended.

Love the way Dr.Hogan came in and checked on me and looked at my injury right before Dr.Hermes came and told me how we were going to take care of my womb and care for it and got me a boot to walk around in until I seen womb care

I had been concerned about another cancer diagnosis but she was able to assure me I was ok just needed healing time

She was very Compassion she has lots of love for her Patient I can see the love she has for her patients and also feel it

The diagnostic was given quickly and in a very dry terms. There was no options discussed. The visit seemed expedited.

I felt like I was in a production assemby line, where moving me through was the priority. The doctor addressed my problem with referrals and prescriptions, but I don't feel I got a clear prognosis. We didn't review my X-Rays?!?

Very negative experience. I expect more from a physician's office. Not only was my physician excessively late. She demonstrated no sense of urgency for her tardiness. I was advised prior to the appointment that any lateness could result in the cancellation of my appointment potentially with penalties assessed against me. I expect the same courtesy from a professional. My physician behaved as if all was normal/well and did not care to acknowledge her tardiness. This was my second appointment with this physician. There was no comparable delay during the first appointment. The delay was abnormal.

Dr Hermes has been a fabulous doctor through both of my surgeries making sure I am aware of all the necessary steps to take care of my foot in the healing process and making time in the pre ops room to give me room to ask any last minute questions. At post opp appointments she's very personable and helpful in giving answers to any questions needed. She's very busy and doesn't have a whole lot of time but she makes sure to be thorough with each patient. Dr Hermes is Fantastic

At first visit, provider seemed awkward and maybe socially inept. At second visit in August she was bizarrely unkind. For example, when I said I stopped PT because I was out of state with my father who was sick and then passed, she described that as "just chilling" rather than doing PT. (Yeah, no - multiple 14 hour solo drives, besides vigils, cleaning out an apartment in 48 hours, and mourning the loss of a parent are not "just chilling" to avoid PT).

I felt the doctor was not really listening to me and gave me a canned speech that she gave for everyone with ingrown toenails. But I had some unique to me health issues that affected my feet and legs. She seem to take no interest in hearing about that or problems I had getting properly fitted shoes because of those health issues.

She is an excellent podiatrist, but the rushed inefficient Emory admin and patient overload system may eventually cause her to feel burnout like my retired Emory podiatrist had. She is light years better as a doctor than the admin and medical support system she works for!

This was one of the worst doctors I have been to in a long time. She was very arrogant, didn't even ask me how my pain was or how I've been feeling. She just told me to wear an insole and that was it. I am very disappointed in this. I will most likely be trying to find a new doctor because of this experience. I hope you take a hard look at this doctor.

Since this was an initial visit, I expect my follow up visit will go into more detail. I felt like I got a lot of information too fast. Doctor explained someone would give me more info when I left.

Pretty impersonal - was hoping for a more holistic consideration of my legs and feet overall, not just the problem area. But I feel like my main issue was addressed. The physical therapist seemed much more interested in me as a whole person.

I have seen this provider twice. Very brief appointments, did not provide thorough explanation of the problem or treatment. Started removing my toenail without telling me she was about to do that. Afyer the first appointment, I had to contact the office because she had not explained when and how often to use the two medications she prescribed. In the second appointment she informed me that I should not have discontinued the medicine too soon, but had not told me how long to continue the medicine. Never asked me if I had questions. In and out in 5 minutes both times. I spent more time in the waiting room than in the appointment.

Emory Healthcare is overall has become a miserable impersonal operation that I would tell anyone to avoid if they have any other option for healthcare
