Dr. Murphy explained my heart problems in very easy to understand terms. He is very down to earth and you can tell he lives what he does and really cares for his patients.

Dr. Murphy is a tremendous communicator as well as compassionate and caring.

The doctor was easy to understand. He used discussion and a physical model to describe the problem and how to fix it. He was a compassionate listener, took questions, and gave us all the time we needed. Most important he understood the patient's emotional state.

Amanda and Dr. Murphy were absolutely wonderful. They explained everything to me. Amanda went over my healthcare history with me. Dr. Murphy explained what was wrong with my heart and explained what he would do. Both of them were exceptional.

Knowing that the surgeon is one of the best in the world at performing the surgery, I required is, of course itself quite comforting. Nevertheless, he has a very warm and engaging manner, a nice sense of humor, and his staff, and particularly Amanda, Alyssa and Melissa with whom I had the most contact, reflected his attitude and approach, and we're also wonderful.
