Dr. Remolina is an excellent gerontologist and primary physician.

I love how Dr REMOLINA asks what the most important thing is that I want to talk to him about. I had a list of questions and he answered all of them in a way I could understand. He took time to explain several things to be aware of if I added a new medication. He also asked me if I had any further other questions when I finished my list.

He recommended that I have an X-ray and called me immediately upon receiving the results. He is seeking to hasten a follow up appointment with Dr Grahreeb.

Dr. Remolina and I had a good discussion about my current situation and we discussed options to increase my exercise by walking. He also answered my question about getting the RSA vaccine. He also told me he wanted me to get my blood tested for thyroid levels as he might need to adjust my dosage. I did the lab work that day. I am glad to have Dr. Remolina as my primary care physician.

Dr. Remolina reviewed all the written questions that I had typed prior to the appointment, and he went over his answers to each of the questions, in detail. He also responded to my request for additional information regarding medical procedures that had be suggested to me by other physicians. Coordinating my entire health care by other medical professionals is what I have been fortunate enough to have received by my previous Emory PCP. I am fortunate to continue to receive the same level of care by Dr. Remolina, as I received by my previous Emory PCP.

Dr. Remolina asked what concerns were important to me, discussed them, made recommendations and asked if I wanted him to make referrals. I felt he was a great listener and that he provided excellent care.

Dr. Remolina is a caring doctor. I'm not from Georgia and never have been approached the way he starts a conversation. He asks what can I do for you today or to make you better or he goes to what do you want me to do.I feel it's difficult because I'm not the doctor. If I'm there with a health issue it would be best for him to say for example, I think I'd like to send you to a specialist or I think I may need an X-ray or an mri. It's almost like he wants my medical advice about what I should want done. I'm not a doctor so it feels like an off way to approach a patient.
