Have been seeing Dr. Ashong over 7 years. She is the best physician I have ever had. Attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and thorough, moving in a timely manner with each visit, while answering clearly and with precision, all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Ashong was very apologetic about the delay, and she spent a good amount of time reviewing my health history with me. When I told her my health concerns, she listened with curiosity, asked clarifying questions, and walked me through various treatment options. I walked out of the office with prescriptions, finally feeling heard by a medial professional. Dr. Ashong was thorough and kind, and she connected with me.

I love Dr. Ashong (this is my second pregnancy seeing her). It seems like she tends to run later than some of the other doctors, but I suspect it's because she actually spends the time with her patients that they need, instead of rushing things. So maybe she could be allowed more time for appnts so she doesn't get so backed up? I think she's great and worth the wait, but still wish I didn't have to wait. :)

With permission, she had a student assisting with procedure so she was very thorough. Admired her teaching style and attn to both me and the student. Quite caring approach all around.

Dr. Ashong is beyond excellent! She definitely puts her patients first and she thoroughly explains all options. She validates concerns and it's very empathetic to all things women related. That makes our annual visits personal and I actually look forward to her warm welcome and small chat. She still asks about my son even though it's been 2.5 years since she delivered him. As an Emory healthcare leader, I can say without hesitation that she delivers the example of excellence in patient experience and is embodying the culture beliefs of Emory.

She did not discuss or provide anything. She did not even explain what is included in annual check up. She was trying to add extra tests which is not covered under preventive care. Everytime I had to check whether it is covered or not.

The BEST DOCTOR!!

Dr. Ashong should teach a course on how to meet & greet new patients. Her approach from knocking on the door, waiting for a response and asking to come in was exceptional. To our discussion of my visit, concerns, body changes, etc. She was more than knowledgeable, she imparted knowledgeable and wisdom that I could use after my visit. Her standard of excellence, care and compassion showed. And last, she was gentle and made the exam as smooth as possible. Thank you for being kind and caring!
