Dr Ghate is an excellent doctor that I recommend to all my friends and family.

Teaching hospitals like Emory need more physicians like Dr. Ghate. I have been diagnosed with Glaucoma. The previous physician, a Thomas Berg, not only showed no concern but refused to read my charts until he had 2 years of images. That caused my IOP to jump from 14 to 18. Luckily, he left to go to a private practice to make more money. I looked up every Glaucoma Professor at Emory and chose Dr. Ghate. SHE IS AMAZING! She will be another Dr. Beck

My Doctor is great and always is.

Doctor wasn't interested in my I took Lumify that worsen red eye situation. It was recommended by her colleague at Emory. I could have ended this issue just there but her way of communicating was way to insulting. Like she was practicing in third world countries where doctor seems to look down on patient as if she is superior. It may work in 3rd country but it sure doesn't work in US. I left the visit with terrible taste in my mouth. Typically my complaint in the past has been with support staff. This was the first time I saw this type of behavior from doctor.

Dr.Ghate is a hard-working woman, doctor and concerned about her patients and what she can do to help I'm very grateful for her.

She did not seem to have prepardd for the visit, by reading my portal mdssage (to which she had responded promptly to set the appointment), but caught up quickly. This and my last visit with her sere a little rushed---my daughter who was with me at the other visit, notced that too.

She is a very sweet lady that definitely knows what she's talking about she recommended a cataract surgery for both of eyes I did it and I am seeing better than I ever have. I went from wearing 350 reading glasses to 100 and that is such a blessing such such a blessing thank you so much Dr Deepa-

I thoroughly enjoyed everyone I interacted with from the initial nurse/assistant to the person who took pictures of my eyes and Dr. Ghate as well as the med student who sat in on our meeting and looked at my eyes. It was my first visit with Emory Eye Center and everyone was friendly, kind and took their time to explain everything. I'm grateful to be under Dr. Ghate's care and look forward to working with her in the future.
