You only have one chance to make a good first impression. I had been looking forward to meeting Dr. Lawson. After waiting 6 weeks for the appointment, then another hour in the room after vitals had been taken, he came in distracted. Our discussion was interrupted a few times by his cell phone. He started going into the risk factors of the treatment he thought I should do but didn't explain how this treatment was decided upon. We were having a hard time communicating/ understanding the process. There was a resident In the room with us and she finally understood. She then proceeded to pull up on the computer paperwork concerning my condition.

Dr Lawson was very helpful in explaining everything to me in a way that I could understand.
