The most intelligent, kind, and solution oriented specialist I have ever encountered, not just in the GI world. This man saved my life, literally, when no other doctors or hospitals would touch me with a ten foot pole. He spoke with hospital doctors daily for an entire month in order to save my life. He is such a lovely human. The entire staff are fantastic and my biggest cheerleaders. I have cried many times over how well they treat me and their encouraging words will stay with me forever <3 I am so incredibly grateful to have had the honor of being Dr. Shahsavari's patient. He is leaving private practice to research Gastroparesis which truly shows his passion for helping others. I have no doubt that he will be all over the news with his research. If anyone can find a cure and/or better management of symptoms for Gastroparesis, it's this guy!

Great care was provided with thorough explanation of what was going to be done. Very considerate and asked if I wanted a female present because he was a male nurse.

Dr. SHAHSAVARI Is an incredible addition to Emory's GI department. He methodically addressed issues I've been dealing with for years and proposed a wide range of possible solutions. I felt heard and have confidence that together we can address the issues piece by piece.
