Before seeing the doctor, I had told the nurse that my symptoms briefly got better before getting a lot worse. When the doctor came in, they seemed to only hear that things had gotten better and I had to correct them and state that they had in fact gotten worse.

I enjoyed the fact that my treatment options were a discussion, not a mandate.

Dr Gleason, as always, is not only skilled, but so very pleasant to be around and shares her enthusiasm for your care and outcome.

The doctor was fantastic as well, attentive and very quick but thorough, did an ultrasound to check on my injury and called for an MRI to be absolutely sure in my diagnosis. Even noticed and noted a knee problem that I didn't mention but was vaguely aware about and I'm glad to have confirmation of.

Dr Gleason is unable to provide any suggestions or give me any solutions as a doctor I feel like she should be able to provide me with medical advice that when I asked her she couldn't recommend or give me her professional opinion or help me treat my issues ever since I started seeing the doctor my symptoms just gotten worse and I'm constantly coming to see her and no progress or any suggestions is given

I've been concerned about having a TKR. Dr. Gleason suggested options for managing my pain (with a specialist) as well as setting up an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. I loved the detailed consultation.

I'm not sure what really was wrong with my hip but mainly came in to check if I had a bad injury or not and it was confirmed that I do not. I think it was just very tight and had no major injuries.

Dr. Gleason provided excellent care. She discussed in detail the different numbing options for the Durolane injections. I liked the extra numbing shot, which made the actual injection more tolerable. Dr. Gleason also listed how to ease back into my exercise routine and how I should feel during the entire recovery process. Her staff will reach out for my six month follow-up notification, which I really appreciate.

Dr. Gleason listened to all my questions regarding my current knee pain. She reviewed my x-rays and explained in detail degenerative changes for both knees. We discussed next steps with regards to Durolane injections vs PRP. With Dr. Mines leaving Emory, I'm extremely happy that Dr. Gleason will now be my doctor.

The doctor and care team were professional but I feel like they did not listen to what I was telling them about my Issue. I'm a runner and they diagnosed me with runner's knee. I had to get a MRI (which showed no issues). Eventually, I had to get a second opinion and the diagnosis that was given to me from the second opinion had nothing to do with runner's knee. I wish the doctor would have considered exploring other areas and would not have been so focus on saying that it was runners knee and that's it.

Because of the hassle of getting to the medical professionals, I cannot recommend Emory and am searching for an independent practitioner.
