About the Provider
Colin Johnson started his career working as an in-patient physician assistant on the general surgery and trauma teams at Northshore University in Evanston, IL. After a few years of consults, first-assisting in the OR and managing the day-to-day care of patients, he decided he wanted more long-term follow up and wanted to see that the medicine he was practicing actually changed lives, which is how he found himself in the Emory Bariatric Clinic.
The enthusiasm his patients have to improve their health inspires him everyday and reminds him why he walks into the clinic every morning. His time here has expanded his knowledge on nutrition, lifestyle medicine and obesity medicine so he can then pass this same knowledge on to his patients.
