I have heard compliments about Dr Farley and she did not disappoint. She discussed different options in general and has proposed meetings with a medical oncologist professional and a medical radiologist professional to discuss the possible outcomes of different treatments in details so I can choose the best path for me. As before, she says to message her or call the office if I wiant further discussions.

Dr. Farley is awesome. She helped me navigate a very stressful situation last year and has convinced that my plan to have a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy was not warranted.

I felt well cared for and accommodated by Dr. Farley. She was thorough and compassionate, answering all my questions and easing my anxieties.

Dr. Farley seems to be competent as a surgeon and her residency was done at a prestigious cancer center. She was very matter of fact and blunt in her explanation of my situation and what the current treatment recommendations are. I got the sense she was telling me what the treatment should be and she didn't offer any other option but one. Perhaps there are none. Her explanation was easy to understand. But I sensed she was in a hurry and she did not put me at ease as other doctors and PAs at Emory have done in the past. She didn't keep me waiting and I appreciated that. She answered my questions but I left feeling the visit was cold and emotionless. I felt I was just another patient and she needed to get the visit finished. She did not acknowledge my family member who was in the room. People facing cancer should be able to expect a warmer reception from the doctor operating on them and who they will have a relationship with for perhaps several years. My experience with all the other Emory physicians and PAs I have seen has been positive and I value that Emory is a designated cancer center by the NCI. I hope future visits with Dr. Farley are more favorable.

Dr. Farley is an excellent surgeon! She takes pride in her skills and provides support and detailed answers to questions/concerns.

I was happy to hear that the surgeon on my case would be Dr. Farle. I have a friend that was under her care and when I told her who my surgeon would be , she had praise for Dr. Farley. Dr Farley went above and beyond; she gave me a 5 star consult. She explained all the terms in the biopsy results since the terms are foreign to me. She gave me an understanding of different procedures after the surgery so I can make a decision of my choice. She welcomed and offered she would welcome calls or messages if I have additional questions/comments. I feel I am in the best hands for this kind of procedure.

Dr Farley is excellent. Always been informative and thorough in exam and discussing further plan of the care. She did my lumpectomy with all clear margins. She made sure all surrounding margins were also removed to ensure my cancer is completely removed. The previous consult, office visits, and surgery day were smooth. Very professional and knowledgeable

Dr. Farley heard me from the first time ever meeting her. She has included me in every discussion and decision regarding my DCIS in my left breast and other findings. She doesn't belittle me when I ask questions, she explains everything in terms that I can understand. Dr. Farley shows concern about my mental health since the former doctor from last year 2023 handling my breast cancer diagnosis was so RUDE from start to after the surgery, causing me to have very crippling anxiety, major depression and other. My visits are still very stressful and hard to get through. But the few visits with Dr. Farley, It Is becoming a little bit more manageable. Because I know Dr. Farley will patiently talk me through all things that are or are not found during my follow up appointments.

Still shows professionalism and care

Dr. Farley is an excellent physician and utilizes communication within the team so that I am taken care of appropriately. She educates me which is reassuring. She is truly my wellness advocate.

Dr. Clara Farley was exceptional. She took the time to explain all terms and procedures. All of my questions were answered. She advocates for her patients. She is truly a gifted doctor and I feel very lucky that she will be my surgical oncologist.

She spoke incredibly quickly, and I don't feel like my life, or desires for my treatment were ever considered. They were certainly not asked about which is a shame because it would have saved her a lot of time and actually led to helpful conversation between patient and doctor, not just the doctor telling the patient what the doctor was going to do. It made me very aware that medicine is an assembly line, and some how I ended up on the assembly line.

She did not once make me feel anxious or pressured like the former surgeon last year.Dr. Farley explained in terms that I could understand when it came to my diagnosis and what procedure she would like to do or might have to do. But I didn't feel like I was just another number or person being sent to the butcher shop
