It is difficult to find physicians who are given adequate time from employers to provide patient/family centered care. Dr Thaler did not have the time but made the time - likely taking break time from her schedule to accommodate a scheduling error. She was calm, attentive, and did not appear rushed or pressured while thoroughly answering my and my families questions. Dr Thaler is extremely well read and knowledgeable of up to date data and can explain it well. She listens and practices supported decision making extremely well.

I came in as a new patient for a 5 year checkup as recommended by my last cardiologist, with no complaints or symptoms. Dr. Thaler is a knowledgeable physician. I've taken so long to complete the survey bc I'm not sure how I feel about my visit. She came in with an audio recorded on her phone, sat in down in front of me, and never acknowledged it or asked my permission. She explained things but if I didn't have the background I have, I'm not sure how she went over information would have been fully understood. Dr. Thaler checked off boxes. Her physical exam was cursory at best. I know she had an echo and ekg results but to auscultate over my clothing was not expected from a cardiologist. And dirty finger nails are not a good look for a physician. Would I see her again? Would I recommend her? I still do not know. I'm not sure if it's just the scientific social awkwardness or something else, and I hope it is the former and not the latter.

With having a congenital heart defect I've had many cardiologists in my life- Dr Thaler is absolutely the BEST provider I've ever had. She Is always responsive to my questions, and never rushes her time with me. I feel so well cared for with her.

Some of the terminology was tough to follow but we asked a lot of questions and it worked out fine.

My provider is great. I wasn't her fault Epic was down and she didn't have access to my chart. She was also very apologetic about the fact that no one had contacted me to let me know Epic was down and that no one contacted me to let me know she was running behind.

Concerning Dr. Thaler- This was one of the best experiences I've had with any doctor. I was thoroughly listened to, given explanations as to what was going on, what could and could not be answered without further tests, given time to articulate my symptoms and concerns and was given answers to questions that were prompt and nuanced, as well as honest and transparent. Dr Thaler's candidness accompanied by her genuine and professional concern, was extremely helpful. I am extremely thankful for her and for her taking my health and well being seriously.

The doctor spent a lot of time with me to help me understand everything about the ablation, which had not been previously explained to me. She took a great deal of time to help me understand the findings, what to expect moving forward and thoughts on how to handle things. She was excellent.

Dr. Christina Thaler is a "God send"! She is extremely thorough, informative, and caring. I've bad experiences with previous physicians I've seen but I can honestly say, she has been concerned about my medical history and keeping me healthy. I had a diagnosis that I was unaware of until meeting her. It was found on previous records but never discussed with me until I saw her for the first time. I'm always impressed that has thoroughly reviewed my medical records prior to my appointment. She's absolutely amazing!

Dr. Thaler does a great job of educating and looking toward the future to prevent any complications she can! I have been going to Emory for over 12 years and she has taught me so much about my condition in my last 2 annual visits. She is doing different diagnostic tests to give a more thorough check-up of my heart which I am so thankful for!

The doctor did not have the results of the test completed prior to the visit. Therefore, she shared that she was unable to give me any information. For this reason, this was a wasted trip. I would have preferred to have a telehealth appointment with the doctor at a later time after she had the opportunity to review the results.
