I thought Dr Calli could have been more informative to me about suggestions regarding improving my cognitive health. I sort of had to pull information out of everybody asking about diet, herbal supplements, and exercise. That in my opinion should have already been explained to me after expressing my concerns with cognitive issues. If she would have done that I would have felt a lot better treated and concerned for. So I left feeling very disappointed. Had she enlightened me about diet and exercise without me having to ask her about it and telling me there's nothing really else to be done as far as additional testing which I had to throw out to her I would have felt a lot more competent with her as her care towards me as a first time patient with her. I did like Dr Sanders who did move on to research capacity position and was my first initial neurologist regarding this issue. Not really totally happy with Calli regarding her ability to probably suggest things to me. But if she's the only one on staff I guess I will continue to see her next time around. Otherwise if additional doctors are available I would consider seeing another neurologist who would be more proactive in giving me the informationative information and possible available suggestions up front on staff there on my next upcoming appointment if that's at all possible versus me having to ask my way through the practitioner to get the knowledge that I was expecting her to give me from her experience with cognitive issues.

When the dr says " I think it's just the way your brain is and we probably wouldn't have been concerned if you hadn't had the 1st mri which was abnormal". Which they did during to onset of symptoms. I will not be back,

Dr. Cook is so considerate and even took extra time to talk to me about my experience of hurricane Helene aftermath outside Asheville. She didn't have to do that and I appreciated it so much.

NP - Cook was excellent. The administrative part of Emory has sadly deteriorated!!

Felt very dismissive. The only recommendation was to follow up with psych. Then she either stared at me or the screen. She seemed annoyed that I wanted to follow up with her after a 4 hour evaluation. No one had talked to me about the results, so I had to wait two months for an opening in her schedule so she could interpret the results. It is unethical to do extensive testing and then not go over the results with the patient.

Savannah, the trainee, gets all 5s from me. Ms Cook gets 3s.
