Dr. Howard was phenomenal. Healthcare has in my eyes changed overall in ways I wish it hadn't, but Dr. Howard proved me so wrong in what I thought I might see during our visit. The experiences in most recent years for myself or family when we have received care In other places not related to Emory, has been a mix of good and not so good, but Dr. Howard cared for my mom and explained in plain language what was going on. I like that he answered questions- was enthusiastic in answering them- we didn't feel rushed. We were always heard. He was kind, he was so compassionate and just made our day. I am grateful that he decided to become a medical provider, that God put it on his mind and heart. He is what our community needs and deserves.

I was highly disappointed in the care I received. Right after the angiogram, I was dizzy, nauseated, I couldn't move my right hand at all, my right side was weak. I was told it was a stroke. I stayed in the hospital overnight for observation. I am still experiencing weakness, yet this doctor is not trying to take accountability for what happened and is now saying it wasn't a stroke. What was it? Why did I stay in the hospital after the procedure? My kids were there and witnessed the entire thing. Why did you all rush me back for an MRI? Was it because my body was shaking uncontrollably and I couldn't speak? The nurses were telling my nurse to CYA. Why were they calling for stroke on the intercom before I was rushed back. There are curtains, not doors so my family heard the conversations. I will never ever come back to this place.

Dr Howard took a lot of time to explain the procedure that will take place to contain my aneurysm. My husband and I were pleased with the care I will receive.
