Dr. Browne was very careful to ensure that I understood my options and could participate fully in finding the "best" care options available for my condition. He never made me feel that I was asking too many questions and understood that, as someone has been very healthy in the past, I am unfamiliar with healthcare procedures.

Great "bedside manner"

Dr Browne looks at the patient and rarely the computer screen, giving the patient all of his attention. He answered my questions thoroughly. He is an excellent clinician and I feel fortunate to have him as my urologist.

Dr. Brown was clearly having a bad day. There were three incidents that occurred during my visit that were very upsetting. 1 had to do with his non-compassion for me having to go to the restroom urgently during the consultation. Another was his reaction to a statement I made about how long it took the files to download off of the CD I brought. And the final issue had to do with A question I asked about the make of the instrument he would be using.

At the beginning of the visit, the provider was friendly, which I appreciated given the stress I was experiencing with undiagnosed medical issues. While he appeared knowledgeable and experienced, his demeanor changed during the appointment. He became short, impatient, and seemed annoyed when I was responding to his questions. This made me feel less cared for and caused me to question whether he fully understood my condition. Additionally, I was disappointed that he did not explore options beyond medication, such as a referral to another specialist, even though we had previously discussed this possibility.

Dr. Brendan Browne is a great listener, and he asks pertinent questions, timely questions. He also provides answers that are importantl, clear and easy to understand.

Dr Browne was prepared for my initial appointment & very informed on my medical history, latest tests & diagnosis as well as range of possible treatments and benefit tradeoffs regards potential outcomes. He was very knowledgeable and engaging In detail discussions directly related to my condition. We had an excellent and Informative discussion on the latest HoLEP treatment procedure, a procedure that I was not previously aware of and which was of high Interest to me as a results of our talk.

Overall, I liked this physician. I did feel that he had a "spiel" that he wanted me to hear, an algorithm he uses to treat women with my condition, rather than engage in a dialogue with me. He also seemed pressed for time.

Doc Browne treats you like you want to be treated when visiting with a physician/surgeon. He doesn't talk down to you but rather communicates professionally while being down to earth with his patient interaction. I feel very comfortable and I feel I can share my concerns with the expectation of receiving the appropriate answer. I left knowing what I need to do now, what I can expect in the future and I felt I could communicate any concerns as needed and prior to my next appointment. If he isn't already he needs to be a surgical leadership position. I speak with some experience as a navy medical service corps officer who worked in a health care setting for 26 yrs.
