About the Provider
Dr. Ketha obtained her undergraduate degree in biology at Emory University and subsequently obtained her medical degree at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She completed general surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC and a clinical research fellowship at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Her research interests included decreasing opioid usage in pediatric patients and probiotic use in necrotizing enterocolitis. She completed her advanced gastrointestinal surgery and bariatric surgery fellowship at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA.
Dr. Ketha has a special interest in advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic bariatric, gastrointestinal, and general surgery. This includes but is not limited to surgery for:
Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass)
Gallbladder disease
Reflux/GERD
Achalasia
Hernias (ventral, inguinal, incisional, hiatal)
Small bowel disease
