I switched from another Emory physician to this doctor and was extremely pleased with the experience. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything and never made me feel rushed. Her medical knowledge is impressive, and she is both highly professional and genuinely pleasant.

Dr. Gitomer was fully prepared for office visit, my first since retirement of Primary Care Physician. She had done her homework. Dr. Gitomer listens carefully, communicates clearly, and is proactive when appropriate. She shows energy and is professional as well as easy to talk to.

Dr. Gitomer has been outstanding in her care for me in the last year of more. I was entertained and pleased yesterday with her as we finished discussing an issue she would ask "What else is going on?" If was an invitation for me to bring up another issue - such a patient open ended question. She actually wanted to know. It felt very validating. I have multiple diagnoses and many providers seem eager to escape my many questions. I am incredibly grateful to be able to see Dr. Gitomer as my PCP.

Dr. Gitomer is an excellent physician. I've never felt rushed during an appointment and she really listens. How well she listens is reflected in the post-visit notes she composes and in the follow-up messages she sends through the portal. I'm so glad to know that she's probably (at least) 20 years younger than me so that she will be my doctor for a very long time to come! She is a tremendous asset to Emory Healthcare and to her patients.

Dr Gitomer had obviously done her homework on my background and conditions, and was ready for me. Dr. Gitomer is truly an amazing physician. She is polite, professional, discusses my issues and her medical plans for those Issues frorthroughoughly with me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Gitomer. She was very professional, informative and caring. I have already scheduled a follow up appointment with her.

Dr. Gitomer had already reviewed my file before entering the room. She knew all about my visit to the emergency room and the tests and the results. And then she updated my diagnosis. I suspect that this diagnostic change will result in a better outcome for me. I appreciate greatly Dr. Gitomer's knowledge and thoughtfulness.

The provider ordered a blood test for me, but NEVER made any comment about the test results, nor responded to my two requests (messages within the MyChart patient portal.

Dr. Gitomer far exceeded expectations in helping me with my problem (suspected Lyme disease because of a rash I had). I was able to get tested immediately. She also made it possible for me to get a COVID vaccine shot, which I otherwise wouldn't have been able to get because I am still a year under 65.

Dr. Gitomer was very compassionate and empathetic about my problems. She addressed all of my concerns.

There was a lot of history to go through and she was well prepared when she came in the room. I was amazed! She did a vertigo test that I was told by another office most PCPs don't even perform. They were impressed that she knew what to do with my situation. Matter of fact, she did a treatment that stopped the dizziness immediately.

Dr Gitomer was amazing, as was the entire staff that I met with. They made me feel heard, safe, encouraged and valued. It didn't feel like I was just the next person on the list, I was someone that they were there to help in any way needed.

Excellent. As stated earlier Dr. Gitomer was thorough and appeared to take my symptoms seriously. I left feeling optimistic that she is willing to help me attempt to find the underlying cause (whatever that may be) to my symptoms that are affecting my day to day life. She was wonderful! Even told me to call her if things got worse. Medication prescribed should give me relief and it did.

Dr. Gitomer had not seen my "situation" before and she called in a colleague - a more experienced internist, I assume - who also took a look. Felt I was getting very good care, especially since it was Urgent Care who caused some concern.

Also had good previous experiences with Dr. Bernal, though I do not recall filling in a survey? Until we know more the suggestion was to stay well-hydrated.
